To climb the Mittellegi ridge of the Eiger you need
to be in top physical condition and have experience in all aspects of mountaineering.

- well acclimatised
- completely confident climbing and walking with crampons on
- some technical rock climbing experience
Because of safety reasons our mountain guide can take only one
guest at a time.
Season
July - September
- Programme - Two day tour
Day 1. Travel with the Jungfrau Railways to the Eismeer Station
(3160m). From here it is a two hour alpine climb over the Challifirn to a precariously
situated, Mittellegi hut.
Day 2. Climb a tantalisingly exposed ridge to the summit. Fixed ropes
have been attached in delicate positions.
- Duration
- From the Mittellegi Hut 4 - 5 Hours up to the summit. The descent
down the westflank to the Eigergletscher station takes approx. 3 - 4 hours.

Cancellation
Whatever your reason for cancelling the trip please inform us as soon as possible.
A minimum of SFr.50.- will be charged for operational costs.
Payment
You should
pay the full amount cash to your guide
Insurance
We strongly recommend you take out an insurance policy to cover mountain accident
and rescue transportation. Helicopter insurance (only rescue transportation) can be
purchased for SFr.30.- per person / per year with REGA, which covers the whole of
